Adding Value to Morocco, October 2022
Recently, Mohanji was invited as a guest to the Vegfest Morocco, the first vegan festival in the country, organized by a motivated group of people, led by Simohammed Bouhakkaoui, a young man full of energy and conviction for the animal cause and the founder of Veg’Morocco.
As we use every opportunity to stay true to our motto of Adding Value to the World, Mohanji International Foundation and ACT Foundation Global sponsored the donation of fruits, books and school supplies to about 100 kids in three different places in the course of two days. We had a wonderful time with the kids at the center of help to women in Fes, where, in addition to the donations provided, we experienced a short meditation inspired by Mohanji’s teachings and planted aloe vera and other plants in the garden.
The highlight was to learn about earth and ecology with Mister Aziz from Oasis Solidaires, a retired math teacher and advocate for ecology and ethics with whom we had a wonderful collaboration during these few days in Morocco.
