ACT 4 Animals 2023
Established in late 2022 under the Mohanji International Foundation, ACT 4 Animals continues to alleviate animal suffering and promote the bond between animals and humans. Volunteers from around the world contribute their time and resources to support animals of all species through the provision of food, shelter, medical care, grooming, and companionship.
The platform successfully provided food to animals in various countries, including delivering hay and feed to a horse rescue in Serbia, feeding stray dogs in the Philippines, cows in Nepal, stray and rescued cats in Croatia, and supporting animal sanctuaries in the USA and South Africa.
ACT 4 Animals facilitated medical care and homes for street cats rescued in Belgrade, Serbia, and provided veterinary advice for the care of rescued animals in Romania and Serbia.
The platform assisted a dog rescue in Vaculesti, Romania, by constructing new dog houses, paddocks, and warm indoor facilities with running water. Construction also began on an ACT 4 Animals hub for animal rescue and medical treatment in Nikolinci, Serbia.
As a part of the Kind Humans Project an initiative was launched in Dallas, USA, marking the beginning of efforts to create a dedicated animal sanctuary. ACT 4 Animals recognizes the human-animal bond as a precious gift and envisions helping therapy animals serve humans with physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and the elderly. Looking forward, the platform aims to establish ACT 4 Animals hubs in various countries, using the hub in Serbia as a prototype for global expansion.
